ESSAY

Upload a Word document or PDF (only) with a maximum word count of 300–350 words. (Must be a submission.) Evaluate a significant ethical dilemma, experience, achievement, or risk you have faced, and its impact on you. *NOTE: For the HISTORY, NATURE’S NURSERY, AWRGCC, Schaller Family Endowment, and AW ART SCHOLARSHIP applicants, the topics are listed with each synopsis below:

History Scholarship: Write an essay answering this question: “Which historical event during your lifetime do you believe will have the largest influence upon you and the United States and why?”

Nature’s Nursery Scholarship: Write an essay answering these two questions: “Why is wildlife important to our community?” and “How can wildlife and humans coexist?”, and include a written recommendation from a teacher, administrator, or counselor.

AW Community Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: Write an essay answering the question “What do you plan to do with your education and where do you see yourself in 5 years?”

Schaller Family Endowed Scholarship: Written essay on the topic: “How will this scholarship assist you in your goals for the future and where do you see yourself in 5 years.”

Anthony Wayne Art Scholarship: Must include an essay expressing career ambition and why the student desires to pursue an art-related career, and a written recommendation from an AWHS art teacher or counselor.
